Human Rights Advocates
Order for Restoring Peace on Earth (ORPE)
Restoring Human Dignity: A Divine Mandate
A Global Call to Unite Faith, Law, and Inclusive Action Wherever Justice Breaks Down.

Where Dignity Is Denied, Justice Must Rise
We act wherever human dignity is violated, fundamental rights are eroded, or justice fails; deploying every means within our reach to defend human rights, honor divine law, and uphold the rule of law.

Moral and Legal Rationale of OHRA Program
Across many fragile and transitioning contexts, the persistence of inquisitorial judicial practices, weak accountability mechanisms, and erosion of ethical governance continue to undermine the protection of fundamental human rights. Arbitrary detention, procedural injustice, and unequal access to justice disproportionately affect marginalized communities, eroding public trust in legal institutions and weakening the rule of law.

Orpe Human Rights Advocates proposes a comprehensive, faith-informed human rights protection initiative grounded in higher-law principles rooted in divine justice, human dignity, and moral accountability. The project advances OHRA’s doctrinal path to safeguarding human rights by transforming justice systems, strengthening adversarial judicial practices, advocating for rights-based public policy, and fostering global partnerships for collective action.

Through targeted judicial and legal training, policy advocacy, faith-driven civic engagement, and international solidarity, the initiative seeks to dismantle remnants of inquisitorial systems, liberate individuals unjustly detained or silenced, and restore dignity to communities whose rights have been systematically denied.
The project integrates legal reform, ethical leadership, and cross-sector collaboration to build resilient institutions and promote a just, inclusive, and accountable society.
Promoting Human Rights Awareness to Reinforce Adversarial Justice

Advancing Justice Where It Matters: End Inquisitorial Abuse, Build Fair Courts

Where Our Principles Meet Action

Intervention Rationale
Despite constitutional guarantees and international human rights frameworks, many justice systems continue to operate under inquisitorial traditions characterized by excessive prosecutorial power, limited defense rights, prolonged pre-trial detention, and inadequate judicial independence.
These systemic weaknesses result in:
-
Violations of due process and fair trial rights
-
Arbitrary arrest and prolonged detention
-
Marginalization of women, youth, religious minorities, and the poor
-
Declining public confidence in legal institutions
-
Weak enforcement of human rights norms

Additionally, policy environments often fail to reflect higher-law ethical principles that prioritize human dignity, justice, and accountability. Faith-based voices and moral leadership, historically central to justice movements, remain underutilized in formal human rights advocacy.

There is an urgent need for an integrated approach that combines judicial system reform, policy advocacy, moral leadership, and global solidarity to protect human rights and strengthen the rule of law.
Goal and Objectives
Overall Goal:
To protect and advance human rights by strengthening adversarial justice systems, promoting higher-law principles, restoring human dignity, and mobilizing global partnerships for justice and accountability.

Specific Objectives:
-
Strengthen Adversarial Judicial Practice: Enhance the capacity of judges, prosecutors, defense counsel, and justice actors to apply adversarial principles consistent with international human rights standards.
-
Dismantle Inquisitorial Legacies: Support institutional reforms that reduce arbitrary detention, prosecutorial dominance, and procedural injustice.
-
Liberate and Protect the Vulnerable: Advance faith-driven advocacy to protect detainees, political prisoners, and marginalized populations from human rights abuses.
-
Influence Rights-Based Public Policy: Advocate for policies rooted in justice, dignity, and higher-law ethical principles that transform communities and strengthen national governance.
-
Foster Global Solidarity and Partnerships: Build cross-border alliances among civil society, faith institutions, legal professionals, and international actors to promote collective human rights action.
Outcomes Pathway
If justice system actors are trained in adversarial legal principles, ethical accountability, and human rights standards; and if faith-based and civil society leaders are empowered to advocate for higher-law, dignity-centered policies; and if global partnerships are mobilized to reinforce accountability and solidarity; then justice institutions will become more fair, transparent, and rights-respecting; policies will better protect vulnerable populations; public trust will increase; and human dignity will be restored, leading to stronger rule of law and sustainable human rights protection.
