Legal Services
Millions of immigrants, refugees, and low-income residents in the United States and globally face systemic barriers to accessing legal assistance. Language barriers, lack of financial resources, fear of deportation, and unfamiliarity with complex legal systems leave these populations vulnerable to exploitation, wrongful eviction, detention, and human rights violations.

In many communities, legal aid services are underfunded, understaffed, and inaccessible, resulting in thousands of individuals navigating life-changing legal processes alone. Refugees and asylum seekers often face immense challenges in proving their status, securing housing, or protecting their families from violence and injustice.

Orpe Human Rights Advocates directly addresses these inequities by offering targeted, compassionate, and community-based legal support. The program aims to fill the justice gap by mobilizing trained legal advocates, community paralegals, and pro bono professionals to serve marginalized populations, while fostering partnerships with local organizations, faith institutions, and international human rights networks.
