Operational Structure of OHRA at National Level

Orpe Human Rights Advocates operates as a faith-based national humanitarian and advocacy organization dedicated to advancing human dignity, social justice, and reconciliation through the principles of divine truth and moral responsibility. Its national operational and organizational structure is designed to ensure that the organization’s global mission is effectively implemented within local contexts through structured governance, decentralized leadership, and community engagement.

At the apex of the national framework is the National Executive Director, who provides strategic leadership, policy coordination, and doctrinal oversight under the guidance of the Regional Executive Director and the National Governing Council. The Council ensures that all national programs align with OHRA’s spiritual mandate, operational ethics, and international standards of human rights advocacy.

The structure extends through four main tiers of chapters to promote accessibility, accountability, and grassroots participation:
-
Provincial/Regional Chapters – coordinate inter-county initiatives, policy advocacy, and partnerships.
-
County Chapters – manage local program delivery and institutional collaboration.
-
City/Municipal Chapters – oversee urban-based outreach, education, and humanitarian response.
-
Sub-County/District Chapters – mobilize communities, faith groups, and volunteers for direct service and empowerment activities.

These chapters operate under ORPE-HRA’s five core program divisions: Human Dignity & Justice, Social Transformation & Empowerment, Humanitarian Response & Resilience, Faith, Reconciliation & Peacebuilding, and Education, Research & Ethics supported by key administrative units in finance, human resources, communications, and monitoring & evaluation.

The national operational system aims to:
-
Localize the global mission of restoring human dignity through faith-driven advocacy and community transformation.
-
Empower local leadership and grassroots institutions to respond to social, moral, and humanitarian crises.
-
Foster ethical governance and sustainable partnerships across government, civil society, and faith communities.
-
Strengthen accountability and transparency through structured oversight and participatory coordination.

In essence, the national operational framework of OHRA transforms its divine mandate into actionable local programs; bridging the gap between faith and justice, advocacy and compassion, leadership and service—to build a society grounded in human dignity, truth, and reconciliation.
