Learning Assessment
Training would not be completed without tracking the results

After training is delivered, user adoption is measured to determine how well the new systems and processes are being used. Learning assessments are used to formally judge the quality of a student’s performance tied directly to the training course objectives. OHRA uses a number of techniques to perform learning assessments including interviews, feedback forms, surveys, focus groups, and process reviews.

Learning assessments occur during and after training sessions
During the training period, we augment the Learning Assessments with process reviews, training tracking, training session feedback, and learning milestones that track how well training is going, how well users are adopting the new processes and systems, and how prepared the site is for change. Measurement results are used by the core team and the site leadership to adjust their approaches to ensure that go-live will be a success.

After go-live, process reviews, learning objectives, and core team exit criteria are used to determine adoption levels. The results of these measurements are used to develop plans to increase user adoption at the site (e.g., additional training, on-site support) as well as to adjust the plans for change management activities at future sites.

From the start of the training program through the go-live events, we compile these results to:

Quantify levels of change readiness across key stakeholder groups

Monitor employee’s transition to the new environment

Inform and adjust change management, communication and training efforts

Minimize the natural and expected productivity dip associated with changes of this magnitude and complexity

Solicit feedback directly from employees as opposed to relying on assumptions or indirect feedback
