What Orpe Human Rights Advocates Does in Relation to Policy Reform
Orpe Human Rights Advocates is committed to fulfilling the call to action: "Stand for Justice. Demand Fairness. Champion Equality Under the Law for Everyone." Through strategic programs, direct advocacy, and community engagement, Orpe addresses systemic injustices, advocates for legal reform, and supports vulnerable populations. Here’s how Orpe acts on this mission:
Legal Advocacy and Reform
Objective: To ensure equality and fairness are enshrined in legal systems worldwide.
Actions:

Partnering with international legal experts to draft and propose legislation that protects human rights.

Engaging with government officials and legislators to advocate for the repeal of discriminatory laws and the enforcement of human rights treaties.

Providing pro bono legal representation to marginalized communities and individuals facing discrimination.​
Impact:

Successfully campaigned for the justice be established for the injustice, crackdown inflicted against the Universidade Rene Descartes of Angola that stifled freedom of expression. (see Eduardo Tusamba Moises vs. Jose Eduard dos Santos, and MPLA, District Court of Baltimore).

Objective: To empower individuals with knowledge about their rights and mobilize communities to demand fairness.
Actions:
